👀 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐚𝐬𝐡0 👀 Analyzing spans and resolving issues just got easier! We have outlined how Dash0's Tracing view simplifies span analysis and helps you filter through complex data efficiently. Key highlights: - 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐦𝐚𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐬: Visualize spans over time, with color-coded clusters indicating errors and durations. - 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐧 𝐓𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞: Sort and filter spans by start time or any relevant criteria. - 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠: Apply filters based on keys, operators, and values, all with quick access. - 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐞𝐰: Navigate complex traces with a mini-map and zoom for detailed span information. This is where the magic happens! Don't worry- I'll keep this PG-13. This is part of the display our operators see when the machine is running. I'll point out a few key elements of this screen and how helpful they can be. 1. Nozzles- a. Includes information on what nozzles are loaded on the head(or heads, as is the case with the two pictured) b. Highlights current loaded inventory of nozzles in the nozzle magazine c. Lights up the nozzles needed for the loaded program d. Informs the operator if nozzles are needed to optimize the layout 2. Trolleys/Feeders- a. Details the components loaded in each zone b. Gives the ability to make adjustments or advance c. Program items within, check quantities, etc. 3. Matrix Tray a. Program items b. Update quantity c. Teach items/trays 4. Machine Info Tabs- a. Monitor real time statistics b. Select either head, or the cumulative effort c. Has live video available, with analysis lines showing 5. Exceptions a. Pattern deletion (x-out or first article, etc) b. Item deletion (if you are electing not to place one of the components) c. Electrical test disabling (if you do not want this option on) 6. Action items a. Start placement b. NPi- new product introduction (awesome feature, worthy of its own post) c. Details on used items d. Turn off buzzer for when the alarm is sounding e. Modes allows you to change features (red means this is not enabled for the operator) As you can see in the upper right corner of the picture, this GUI is from a Europlacer placement machine, the iineo2 specifically. The middle track above the nozzles is where icons for boards would be showing if the machine had been running at the time of this screenshot. It can show up to 4 boards at a time- 1 in staging before the left head, one at each head, and one waiting to offload. Also, the speed would have been better if a pesky process engineer had been letting the operator go about his business! This screen keeps a lot of information available right at the operator’s fingertips. Not pictured is another window to the left and below that would show pick error details and status reports for troubled components. I love learning about all the different platforms. Please include a picture of whatever platform you are using, and what features you like! #smt #pcb #pcba #pickandplace

What's the most CHALLENGING and TIME CONSUMING part about doing a good Conjoint Analysis study? Is it PROGRAMMING the survey within the platform? Is it running the ANALYSIS? Is it INTERPRETING the results? While these steps are certainly part of the process of getting it right, our experience is that the hardest and most time consuming part is making sure the research addresses the business problem by creating a proper list of attributes and levels, through working together with internal and external stakeholders. Once you've done the hard work of creating the attributes and levels (including, potentially, graphical levels) to address the business problem and properly relay the concepts/ideas to respondents (consumers), the other parts are usually pretty straightforward. Good software (Sawtooth) makes the steps of "programming" (it's really point-and-click) and analysis relatively easy. Join me in Orlando, January 22-24 to learn to conduct conjoint and MaxDiff analysis studies, getting the list of attributes and levels right, "programming" them in Sawtooth, running the analysis, interpreting the data, and nailing the insights/predictions. SenseMaker® is an online and app-based questionnaire tool. It's a bit different from others you may have seen. Here's a quick guide on how to respond to a #sensemaker questionnaire. 🌟 The Triangle Questions: When you get to these questions, you'll be asked to drag and place the marker somewhere within the triangle. You need to think about the three different labels shown and place the marker in the position that best reflects your own story or experience. The closer you move the marker to any of the corners, the stronger that label is in your experience. When answering this type of question, you should be thinking about the tension or the balance between these three different labels. There's no right or wrong answer here; it's about how you feel and your own experience. You can go with your instinct. If none of the labels are relevant to your story, you can click the N/A button. 👉 Contact us for an open consultation: https://lnkd.in/eA_2prDv #dataanalysis #researchtool #datacollection #innovation #survey

🌟 What if I only knew? - The Prediction Profiler 🌟 In the fifth part of the "What if I only knew?" series, I would like to show one of JMP's most powerful tools—and maybe my favorite: The Prediction Profiler. Understanding complex processes through equations is tough. How do you know which variables truly impact your results? And how can you visualize how changes in one variable affect another? The Prediction Profiler offers an interactive, visual representation of your model, allowing you to understand, predict, and optimize outcomes. 📈 Take a look at this example of tablet manufacturing, where the goal is to maximize yield. The Profiler shows the relationship between yield and factor settings, and because it’s interactive, you can adjust those settings and immediately see how yield changes. You can also explore interactions—like how altering Coating Viscosity influences the curve for Spray Rate. Our goal, of course, is to maximize yield. I could manually adjust the settings to find the optimal combination, or simply click "Maximize Desirability" from the red triangle menu, and let JMP handle the optimization. The result? A 10-point increase in yield, plus we now have the exact settings our equipment needs to run for higher output. Imagine trying to do all this without the Prediction Profiler!😶 #JMP #WhatIfIKnew #PredictionProfiler #Optimization #DataAnalysis #DataScience Marija Lind Cristina Cosenza Michael Schmidt
