WHO PLAYS THE MAJOR ROLE IN ACCELERATING THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDGs)? Is it the Government? Youths? Private companies? NGOs? Schools or Universities? Religious organisations? Many Nigerians, or better still, Africans, often believe that achieving the SDGs is solely the responsibility one sector more than the other, neglecting our collective role in these efforts. However, from yesterday's AIIDEV Africa SDGs-AMP Workshop Series 3, my belief and conviction that accelerating the SDGs requires contributions from all sectors was reaffirmed and reinforced. It’s clear that collaboration and collective action from every part of society are crucial to driving sustainable and impactful change. Every sector—government, youths, private companies, NGOs, schools or universities, and religious organisations—must play a part in this mission. Let’s all join hands and take active roles in advancing the SDGs for a better future.
