Work can be an amazing and unique place. "Amazing" in that you get to do challenging and rewarding work with a team. This is true at Propel! We support schools' success as they work to impact students and families. "Unique" in that you encounter an array of talented people you wouldn't necessarily find in your curated, personal life. Today, Propel's people got together and laughed, smiled, and celebrated a year. Gathering at Topgolf, we swung at balls, missed and hit those same balls, ate tasty food, and were reminded about the power of the team. Thanks to all the Propel team members who put in so much effort each day this year! And thank you to the schools who trust us to support them! #teambuilding #workfriends #charterschools #bettertogether

Elevate Your Game: The Pickleball Principle in Business Just as in pickleball, success in business relies on choosing the right partners and fostering a supportive environment. Here's how to apply the 'Pickleball Principle' to your professional life: #SelectYourATeam In pickleball, your partner can make or break your game. Similarly, in business: - Surround yourself with talented, motivated individuals - Seek out mentors and peers who challenge and inspire you - Build a network of diverse skills and perspectives #SupportYourSquad A great pickleball partner has your back on the court. In your career: - Be the colleague everyone wants on their team - Offer encouragement and constructive feedback - Celebrate others' successes as if they were your own #BetheGameChanger In pickleball, one strategic shot can turn the tide. In your professional life: - Look for opportunities to make a significant impact - Be ready to step up when it matters most - Remember that your contribution could be the tipping point for success By applying these principles, you're not just playing the game – you're changing it. Surround yourself with greatness, be a pillar of support, and position yourself to make that game-changing move. In business, as in pickleball, it's not just about who you are, but who you choose to play with. Make every interaction count, and watch your professional game soar to new heights. I have been very fortunate to have been surrounded by these peeps over the years. Thank you for bringing out the best in me!!!! Here's the deal... When you have a vision for something, you just say FU*K IT and run with it and never stop running! I had a vision that I wanted to fly fighter jets - I flew a Cessna ^^ I didn't work hard enough to pursue this outside of signing up for an HS elective. I dreamt but stopped running I had a vision I wanted to play in the MLB - I played Varsity. ^^ I chose a different path that pulled me away from training and my love of playing and I got to Varsity as a senior, when I probably could've played at different levels if I just stayed laser-focused. I dreamt but stopped running I had a vision I wanted to be a DJ - I played in some of NYC's biggest nightclubs, and one-offs, and held an online residency, for a couple of years... ^^ This I worked on and worked on and worked on and do believe is my truest of true callings in life but I've chosen other things that I felt were bigger than me and more important to me (Namely, my children) ... The work I put into my DJ'ing skills landed me gigs and notoriety and network and the necessary skills (At that time) to show I did know what I was doing. I dreamt and I ran and then chose to stop running. All of the above were dreams I took the smallest of levels and now I have another vision and this time I promise myself, I am not doing this on the smallest of scales; I not going to stop running. I am ready to be vulnerable and put myself out there to follow this new vision of mine. It is not revolutionary but to me, it is something I am very passionate about and I hope it will be something to help many people... This time, I am not going to stop running :) #Passion #Building #Creating #Sharing #Networking #Leadership #Excitement #Partnership #TechEcosystem #NYCTech #Technology #Education #Promotion #SelfDiscipline #NeverStopLearning #Community

I signed up for a 10k race! The catch? It was just two weeks before the event and I'm not even a runner. So with only two weeks of prep I challenged myself through it. On race day, the big surprise wasn’t just that I finished the race, but that I did so in great condition, with energy to spare. Here’s what I learned from this experience: 🏃🏼♀️ Commit to your goals: Whether it's running a race or launching a new business project (like SoulClip Studio), commitment is the first step. Deciding to go for it, no matter how daunting it seems, sets the foundation for success. 🏃🏼♀️ Embrace the journey: Training in such a short period wasn’t easy. There were days when I doubted myself, but embracing the journey and taking it one step at a time made all the difference. 🏃🏼♀️ Push beyond your comfort zone: I regretted signing up many times during those 2 weeks, but the truth is on the race day it felt amazing and led to unexpected achievements. Taking risks and challenging ourselves often leads to growth and new opportunities. 🏃🏼♀️ Celebrate your wins: Yes, I deserved that beer after crossing the finish line. Recognize and celebrate your accomplishments, no matter how big or small. We have to be our number one fans! We are capable of much more than we often give ourselves credit for. Shouts to Kim Ruiz for being the best runner partner. Grlz be running! #Motivation #Leadership #PersonalGrowth #Resilience #Commitment #SoulClipStudio

Come join me for the highs and lows of going after a big audacious goal... This weekend was another big ‘stepping stone’ towards my 2024 goal: A Podium at the Chester 100 Mile Ultra Race. 😬 I thought I’d share some insights from a day at the grindstone – good, bad, and very ugly! Special thanks to my eldest daughter for the video edit. I certainly didn’t have the energy… or talent! 😎 Three big takeaways: ⏩ ‘Run your own race’ – Patience and discipline paid dividends. Avoiding the temptation of pushing the pace early allowed for a strong finish. Catching 2nd place at the 22 mile point was a huge boost for morale. ⏩ The 'Messy Middle’ – Every big event or project has a 'messy middle'. Progress feels impossible and the end is still out of sight. Focusing on (and celebrating) little wins was a great strategy for regaining momentum. ⏩ ‘The Power of Purpose’ – Leveraging your ‘Why’ can be a super power when the going gets tough. The thought that my efforts might inspire just one person was an enormous source of strength. It’s 7 weeks to my day of reckoning. 😬 Win or Learn, I’m excited for the journey ahead. Whatever you’re up to this week – keep being awesome! Phil P.S. If you, your team, or your organisation have big goals for 2024 – let me know how I can help. #HighPerformanceJourney

🐐 Exciting News from Our Farm! 🐐 I’m thrilled to share that one of our goats recently gave birth to a set of triplets! This incredible event not only brings joy but also offers valuable lessons that resonate in both life and business. Lessons Learned: 1. **Embrace Teamwork**: Just like the triplets will rely on each other for support and growth, successful projects thrive on collaboration. We can achieve more when we work together and support each other's strengths. 2. **Adaptability is Key**: Each goat is unique, just like the individuals in our teams. Adapting our approaches to accommodate different needs leads to a more harmonious environment, whether in the pasture or the workplace. 3. **Resilience and Care**: New life requires nurturing. In our professional lives, we must invest time and resources into developing talent and fostering an environment where everyone can flourish. 4. **Celebrate Milestones**: The birth of these triplets is a reminder to celebrate achievements, no matter how big or small. Recognizing progress boosts morale and inspires continued effort. 5. **Long-Term Vision**: Just as we prepare for the future of our goats, we should always keep an eye on our long-term goals in business. Each step taken today builds the foundation for tomorrow’s success. Let’s take these lessons and apply them in our daily lives, fostering environments that encourage growth, collaboration, and resilience. Here’s to new beginnings and the joy of life! #Leadership #Teamwork #GrowthMindset #Resilience #CelebratingSuccess

As the #PremierLeague season draws to a close, we stand in admiration of the relentless spirit of the game. It's been another grueling season, a testament to the resilience not just of the players on the field, but of every individual involved behind the scenes. My question. How can an organisation continue, endlessly and tirelessly, without a break, and still perform at its peak? The answer would you agree, lies in the unwavering commitment to excellence, the collective passion, and the shared vision that propels teams forward. It's about the meticulous planning and strategic rest, that is woven into the fabric of the season, allowing for recovery amidst the hustle. The support of the fans also plays a crucial role, providing an inexhaustible source of energy that fuels the players and staff. And let's not forget the #innovativemanagement practices that ensure mental and physical well-being, keeping the organisation vibrant and dynamic. As we celebrate the end of another season, there are lessons of #endurance, #teamwork, and #strategic execution into our professional lives. Organisations that set the bar high and show us that with the right mindset, the race is not always to the swift, but to those who keep running. #PremierLeague #Resilience #Teamwork #Leadership

When I arrived in Sarasota, one thing was clear: there was no facility where a pro soccer team could play. Building one takes years, and partnering with local Major League Baseball teams would’ve cost hundreds of thousands each season. So, Sarasota Paradise began as a pre-professional team in USL League Two—a practical choice but also an opportunity to build a story from the ground up. Why start small? Because sustainable support isn’t built on hype; it’s built on a journey. For us, that meant connecting with the community through shared experiences and transparency. In our first season, we had about 50-100 core fans—people who showed up no matter what. This past season, that grew to 100-150. Next season, we’re aiming even higher, as our journey and fan base grow together. The U.S. loves new things, and launching a fresh team often brings a “honeymoon period.” But when the novelty fades, support can wane if there’s no genuine connection. That’s why our focus has been on building something real and lasting. Year one was about learning and figuring out the fan experience. Year two, we won our division and made the playoffs. Now, in year three, we’re stepping it up both on and off the field with an even better game day experience and a stronger team. Of course, the dream is to go pro, but we’ve kept our future plans realistic. It’s easy to oversell, but we’re focused on delivering what’s here and now. It’s a gradual buildup—a story of progress and resilience. This process hasn’t been fast, but it’s been genuine. Our story is built to last, just like Sarasota Paradise, a club that will endure and represent our incredible community for years to come. 🌴 ⚽ ☀️ #BuildingParadise #SustainableGrowth #CommunityEngagement #USLSoccer #SarasotaParadise
