Join me as I dive into the psychology of fear and uncover 𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐆𝐨𝐝𝐳𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚 𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐚𝐫 𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐛𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞! In this video, I explore the absence of color and how it amplifies terror, the power of shadows in creating suspense, and the historical context that gives black and white movies their realistic, documentary style. I also analyzed the effects using examples from classic films like 𝑅𝑎𝑔𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝐵𝑢𝑙𝑙, 𝑃𝑠𝑦𝑐ℎ𝑜, and 𝑆𝑐ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑑𝑙𝑒𝑟'𝑠 𝐿𝑖𝑠𝑡, old black and white horror movies like 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝐵𝑙𝑎𝑐𝑘 𝐶𝑎𝑡 and 𝑁𝑜𝑠𝑓𝑒𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑢, and contemporary black and white movies like 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝐿𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑠𝑒 and 𝐴 𝐹𝑖𝑒𝑙𝑑 𝑖𝑛 𝐸𝑛𝑔𝑙𝑎𝑛𝑑. Discover how these elements combine to make the Godzilla films a terrifying experience.

Game theory and prisoner’s dilemma In the video below Veritasium - which is a youtube channel with great content - discusses the prisoner’s dilemma in the findings of the Axelrod Tournament. It’s fascinating what the winners were in the study and what implications on the long term benefits of cooperation even between rivals. The main four qualities of the winners were: 1- Nice 2- Forgiven 3- Retaliatory 4- Clear Please watch the full video - about ~25 minutes - to get all of the information and I’m sure you’ll not regret it. https://lnkd.in/dVAHUfxk

Here's an important video to watch, to understand life, strategically. You might have heard of what prisoner's dilemma is, in game theory... but life is a set of continuous, interdependent prisoner's dilemmata. The video gives you 3 basic thumbrules to build a reaction system and potentially how the world might react to each outcome... My biggest takeaways are - Simple clear communication of a simple model outpaces complex solutions - “In the short term it is often the environment that shapes the player… but in the long run it is the players that shape the environment.” Words to live by.

In the epic fantasy series "A Song of Ice and Fire," we are presented with a world vastly different from our own, but how different would it be if gunpowder was introduced? This unique fanfiction explores the world of Westeros if gunpowder was a prevalent element in warfare and beyond. Prepare to dive into a story like no other, blending elements from two polarized realities into one intriguing narrative.

The Power of Logic and Common Knowledge; This indeed is a fascinating study in how individuals can use shared information and logical deduction to solve seemingly impossible problems. It shows how a simple, seemingly trival statement can set off a chain reaction of realizations and actions based on common knowledge and logical reasoning. #LogicalThinking #MindGames #CriticalThinking #BrainTeaser https://lnkd.in/d5XxiD9Q
