📢 #EUROLAB, represented by President Paolo Moscatti and Secretary General Laura Martin, participated in the European Quality Infrastructure Network (EQIN) meeting on November 4th after joining as an Observer Member earlier this year. At this meeting, EQIN also welcomed PROSAFE (Product Safety Forum of Europe) as a new member, strengthening the network’s expertise in market surveillance and product safety across the EEA. With this addition, EQIN now brings together a comprehensive range of organizations representing key areas of quality infrastructure, including: ➕ CEN and CENELEC for Standardisation ➕ European co-operation for Accreditation (EA) for Accreditation ➕ EURAMET - The European Association of National Metrology Institutes for Metrology ➕ WELMEC for Legal Metrology ➕ PROSAFE (Product Safety Forum of Europe) for Market Surveillance ➕ EUROLAB, as Observer Member, representing the Conformity Assessment Bodies As EQIN continues its work to enhance quality infrastructure, EUROLAB is pleased to support and bring contributions to the key agenda items, including: ➖ QI support in trade agreements; ➖ EQIN and digitalisation; ➖ Strengthening cooperation with the European Commission; ➖ Enhancing EQIN visibility (name, logo, website).
