Today, we’re standing up to call for earlier, faster and fairer access to new medicines for Australian men and families impacted by cancer. The fact is that people in all corners of our great country often have to wait more than 442 days for reimbursed access to registered medicines required to treat their disease. As a member of the Bridging Funding Coalition, we unreservedly endorse the Coalition’s National Consensus Statement to bridge the funding gap between TGA registration and listing on the PBS. Today’s action calls on the Federal Government to establish an Expert Implementation Group to help us deliver accessible and affordable health care for all.
