This week's safety message in on loading awareness. An improperly loaded truck is a hazard: Weight Distribution: Ensure the weight of the cargo is evenly spread across the truck. This helps maintain balance and control. Secure Cargo: Use ropes, chains, or straps to ensure cargo doesn't shift during transit. A shifting load can cause imbalance and potential accidents.

Safety! It's so easy for us to forget about safety in the warehouse. Trucks need to be loaded/unloaded, orders need to be picked, product needs to MOVE. But an accident can, at best, create significant delays, and at worst, cause major injury to the most valuable asset; your TEAM. It's important to have regular, scheduled safety audits for your facility to review your conditions. Let me know If you'd like an extra pair of eyes to spot potential flags! I'd love to spend some time in your facility and learn about your operation. #warehousing #materialhandling #palletracking #safety #dfw
