BITCOIN SMASHES RECORDS WITH NEW ATH DAILY PAYMENTS - April 23rd saw the #Bitcoin network itself process a whopping 1.6 million individual transactions between senders and receivers. - This marked a whole new record for the highest number of payments processed by Bitcoin in a single day. - It was, however, no coincidence that the event came just three days after the $BTC halving, alongside the launch of so-called ‘Runes’. - On April 23rd, said Runes accounted for a staggering 81.3% of all Bitcoin transactions. - The biggest winners of the saga, however, are Bitcoin miners. - According to Cointelegraph, Runes have generated an incredible 1,200 $BTC in additional miner fees since their launch just over a week ago. - Only time will tell how long hype and excitement will persist around Runes. However, their popularity already appears to be diminishing. Image: iStock

Is there scarcity of Bitcoin in the market? In general, the overall supply shock continues to build up, as Bitcoin's illiquid supply has reached a new all-time high while exchange balances hit a new multi-year low. Almost 75% of Bitcoin supply is deemed 'illiquid' according to Glassnode, while less than 14% of supply remains on exchanges. Moreover, whales continue to send bitcoins off exchange on a net basis. Buying Bitcoin offers numerous advantages, especially for those looking to diversify their investment portfolio, hedge against inflation, or embrace the future of money. Bitcoin's decentralized nature ensures that it isn't controlled by any government or institution, providing financial freedom and security. With its limited supply of 21 million coins, Bitcoin is often referred to as "digital gold," a store of value in times of economic uncertainty. As adoption grows, more companies and individuals are using Bitcoin for payments, and it continues to gain credibility as a revolutionary technology. For those interested in innovation and financial independence, Bitcoin represents a unique opportunity. #BuyBitcoin #DigitalGold #FinancialFreedom #CryptoInvestment #FutureOfMoney #BlockchainTechnology #Decentralized #BitcoinAdoption #InvestInCrypto #HedgeAgainstInflation

Chart 79: Bitcoin Google Searches Bitcoin google searches are sitting at major lows. This is an interesting dynamic, especially because its price is very close to ATHs, so it would be natural to see much more interest from the general public. Based on this, we could argue that sentiment towards crypto is considerably bearish at the moment. According to ByteTree Asset Management "when there are few bulls, it is a good time to be one". We believe this is a case where there are few bulls in the crypto market, so it could indeed be a great time to be one. Disclaimer: This is not investment advice. #BitcoinNews: Bitcoin's recent price volatility prompts questions about its bull run sustainability. Market expert Charles Edwards suggests that Ethena Labs' actions, like constraining over-leverage and reducing spot supply, could extend and boost Bitcoin's bull market. While acknowledging potential risks, Edwards remains optimistic about Ethena's impact on Bitcoin's market performance. BTC and ENA have experienced recent price declines. #CryptoNews #CryptospaceToday #Bitcoin

The recent fluctuations in Bitcoin's price have sparked concerns about the health of the crypto market. But should you be overtly worried? Bitcoin's movements oscillate far wider than other tradfi assets. Large liquidation of equities triggers significant price drops but in Bitcoin, this effect is highly pronounced given its higher sensitivity to large transactions. Bitcoin exhibits a much higher price elasticity to sell pressure than other assets, making it more sensitive to large transactions. This is largely due to its relatively young market, limited liquidity, and a transparent technology that impacts market opacity. Understanding these unique characteristics is crucial to recognizing that Bitcoin's high price elasticity is not to be taken at face value right now. So should you continue to still invest in Bitcoin?
