The City of Surrey has released a corporate report introducing the rezoning of 70,000+ lots in Surrey. There are a lot of changes and credit needs to be given to City staff and planners who were able to make these changes on a short timeline. Once approved by council, key changes will be as follows: - 15 existing single-family zones are being deleted and replaced with 9 new zones (RA, R1, R2, R2-O, R3, R4, R5, R5-S, R6) - Depending on the zoning, lot size, and shape you can potentially build garden suites, coach homes, duplexes, or houseplexes.
