Six years ago, I took on leading a challenging project to implement a new SAP Ariba module for a large client, despite lacking familiarity with the module.  This opportunity required me to step outside my comfort zone and quickly acquire technical and functional knowledge.  Although initially intimidated by the tight deadlines and uncertainty, I chose to embrace the discomfort.  I enrolled in intensive training and dedicated extra hours to self-study, which enhanced my skills and confidence.  I sought advice from experienced colleagues and mentors, gaining valuable insights and perspectives.  By breaking the project into smaller milestones, I made the task manageable and adaptable.  Ultimately, I successfully led the module implementation and gained expertise in this area. The client was highly satisfied, leading to more opportunities and partnerships.  This experience underscored the importance of becoming comfortable with discomfort.  Have you faced a similar challenge that pushed you out of your comfort zone? "My SaaS application is not connected to my SAP S/4HANA dev, test landscape - so I cannot test it until we are on QAS environment" - if you ever hear that, don't assume the SAP Developer or SAP Functional Consultant just wants to find a way to to say - "it will not work as there was no way for me test a real scenario". I'd assume that the organization just does not know that it's fully possible to simulate SaaS applications, like SAP Ariba, etc. on development, sandbox and other test environments by using Service Virtualization. This way simulations can be executed by anyone to perform manual testing for the development and configuration purposes. End user adoption needs to be facilitated from kick-off if you are looking to achieve #ROI.
