Isn't it funny how a task can look so simple and easy at first, but then by the time the deadline rolls around, it feels like a much bigger undertaking? 🤯 I'm sure we've all experienced this in our work projects before. In project management milestones mark the end of a phase or deliverable completed, you can apply the same idea to your New Year’s goals. Here's how: 1. Set Milestones: Break down your larger goals into smaller, achievable milestones. 2. Create a Schedule: Plan out when each milestone should be achieved, and schedule your actions accordingly to stay on track. 3. Follow-ups: Review your progress regularly, adjust if needed, and celebrate small wins along the way. Converting your goals into measurable milestones and having a clear schedule will help you stay more motivated and focused throughout the year. #GoalSetting #NewYearGoals #Milestones #Productivity #TimeManagement #PersonalGrowth

GM, We started taking actions like a command Now we get productive, with smart actions What best illustrate this aspect of breaking our tasks into action block in effectively boosting your productivity and facilitating the process of achieving, can be read in this post below👇 1. Defining milestones, is quick getter to track task leading to progress, as defining the tasks that need to be done to complete each milestone, creates an environment on tackling each challenge leading the next and closer to achieving 2. Prioritizing task, is a go to, as this clears the dashboard with unnecessary work space, with lower priority and the energy which you will give on those tasks, in respect to their importance 3. Putting your tasks into action points is good, but having a specified deadline, gives an edge as to how time matters on its completion or not. because setting a goal without a specified deadline definitely creates a sluggish approach to do it 4. Monitor your progress with an organized project management system is effective to already stay ahead on making preplanned schemes on how to go about structuring how to go about, making actions plans on a milestone or task to be done in respects to priority and deadlines 5. You can make use of an action plan system, with the Notion X Action template which I've created, in resource of how to put your tasks into an action dashboard You can get this #Notion for free, https://lnkd.in/eadCiSSX #productivity #action #notiontemplate

There is a lot of discussion about the need for project managers to produce value. The word “value” Has been included in plenty of posts but there is no actual mention of what value is or how it is defined. Value is defined differently by the stakeholders involved in a project. How can a project manager and team clearly define value for the project they are assigned to? What “value metrics “ should be defined to ensure a successful project outcome?

"This starts with the objectives. If the project team have not bought into the objectives from the outset then you will really struggle to get buy-in for the decisions that get made along the way. It is therefore worth investing time at the start talking through the objectives and ensuring people fully understand and support them. This is predominantly incumbent upon the project manager, but should be done with the strong and vocal support of the Sponsor."* *An extract from The Everyday Project Manager by Jeremy Nicholls, published by Routledge Press, and available here: https://buff.ly/3jjDzV8 #projectmanagement #everydaypm #routledgepress #projectmanagementtraining
