1/... 7. Process the emotions, like worry and uncertainty or other emotions that might be keep you from falling asleep. I have anxiety with my PTSD... I also have no thyroid, and that itself can have insomnia issues. The Emotional Charge Technique is helpful with this despite that. I was ruminating for 12 hours one day. I was going to be hard to sleep in this distressed loop of uncertainty. I had a realization on the uncertainty itself... Did technique on Uncertainty Charge... Ok, it took an hour, hut it was GONE. It lifted, i had no trouble getting to sleep. In fact, I had no anxiety over the issue for the rest of the weekend. And no trouble sleeping. Sometimes, though not caught in an emotional state, I use "Wakefulness" as the Charge. "That is Wakefulness Charge", used with technique helps, and I gave actually watched sleep come on... No kidding, pretty amazing. This technique is DIY, no practioner required. No Sessions to set up or learn... Can work first time out of the box on many things, need no practice to be effective and set up conditioning. I don't have a specific podcast on insomnia. But you might check out the podcasts on "Overthinking, Rumination and Scenario Building... See 2/

Great article with actionable insights! The tips on sticking to a consistent wake-up time and creating calming pre-sleep routines are so effective. I’ve also found the idea of associating your bed only with sleep (or sleep-related activities) to be a game-changer for improving rest. It’s a good reminder that better sleep takes time and consistency, but the payoff is well worth it. Thanks for sharing these strategies!

While medication can help in the short term, addressing the root causes of sleep issues through behavioral changes is a more sustainable approach.

In our work with postpartum mothers, it's common for those with postpartum anxiety to have difficulty sleeping even when they feel physically exhausted. Relaxation strategies like deep breathing and mindfulness are very effective in helping to reduce stress and improve sleep.
