Geofencing is not entirely new in some sectors, but I believe it is still reasonably new to #Agtech? But even if I'm wrong on this, this Systems & Components winner from AGRITECHNICA 2023 is taking the concept to an even higher level. It is a plug n play control box for farm machines which is also the world's first ASIL B certified Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) unit. Apart from its amazing precision, a key feature of this innovation is the very effective geofencing safety application - meaning autonomous machines can't "get out" of their "virtually" fenced areas - even if there is no collision imminent (which is often what stops other autonomous vehicles).
