Planning is necessary so we can fit in everything and enjoy the holiday season. Starting from November and running through the middle of January, we tend to participate in or host several events, either at home or outside the house, during this time. To help you keep your expenses in check and your day more organized, I created this ebook to help you plan the holiday season so you don't overspend or get stressed later. Read on to see how you can save money and time during the holiday season in this FREE 48-page ebook. My Story about Why I love this Holiday Season Planner First, let me tell you why I created this planner. We hosted several parties throughout the holiday season since my husband and I married over 25 years ago. It has become our thing in both our families. At one point, we had five parties during this time of the year, Thanksgiving, #Christmas Eve, My family holiday gathering, my husband's holiday gathering, and New Year's Eve. These events happened for more than five years. This wasn't just meals we would serve. We created fun games and crafts activities for the kids and adults. We all made theme meals for the individual parties and organize the family members to bring side dishes/desserts for each party. If I didn't have this planner, we wouldn't have been able to organize the parties inexpensively, and we wouldn't have been able to enjoy them. It was a necessity to keep spending down and time managed. What is in this FREE 48-page Holiday Season Ebook? I'm going to go through this ebook below. If you want a copy, please fill out this form here. Note: you do not only get this free ebook, but you also get all of the other ebooks as well. A quick question for authors: “Are you making the most of this magical month?” Here are some fun ways to team up with fellow authors and make the season even brighter (for you and your readers): 1️⃣ Cross-Promotions Think of it as “you scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours.” Team up with authors in your genre and share each other’s books with your audiences. A quick shoutout in your newsletter or social media can introduce readers to a whole new world (and boost sales for both of you). 2️⃣ Holiday Giveaways Everyone loves free stuff—especially during the holidays! Partner with 2–3 authors to host a festive giveaway. Bundle up signed copies, swag, or even a book-themed gift basket. 3️⃣ Bundled Deals Got books that fit together like hot cocoa and marshmallows? Create a special holiday bundle! Pair your book with another author’s work at a discounted price or as a buy-one-get-one deal. It’s a win-win for your readers and your sales numbers. Why December? 🎄 Readers are hunting for gifts, cozy reads, and escapism during the holiday rush. Plus, it’s the perfect excuse to connect with your peers and tap into their audiences (while sharing yours too). So, what do you think? Are you ready to collaborate and make December your most magical month yet? #AuthorCollabs #HolidayReads #BookMarketingTips #AuthorLife

Holiday Tip: Don’t say, “You told me that already!” Loved ones may repeat stories or questions due to normal aging or memory issues. DO show patience and listen with interest, even if they repeat themselves. DO offer grace, understanding that their memory may not always be reliable. Context Setting Part 2: Background Information Let me bring this to life through an example: Annual Family Dinner 🍽️ 1. Historical Context 📜 "Imagine you're planning a family dinner. Start with a brief history: 'For the past few years, we've made it a tradition to host a big family dinner every Sunday.' This helps set the scene for why this dinner is special." 2. Current Situation 📅 Describe the current scenario: 'Lately, everyone’s been super busy, so this Annual Dinner is our chance to catch up and reconnect on life happenings' This lets everyone know why this particular dinner is more important than usual." 3. Key Players and Stakeholders 👨👩👦👦 "Identify who’s involved: You have an invitees list, your spouse has one, even grandma has an invitees list.' Knowing who's contributing helps everyone feel included and prepared." 4. Key Facts ℹ️ "Lastly, share crucial details: 'We’ll need share the invites by Sep 30th for the December Annual Dinner so people can plan and RSVP in time so arrangements can be finalized by November. These facts ensure everything runs smoothly." 🔑 Providing clear background information with historical context, current situation, relevant stakeholders and key facts is essential in terms of setting it up for a decision that needs to be made with certain options and alternatives. #decisions #decisionmaking #context #contextsetting
