Last night, Leading Edge Human Resource Network (LEHRN) hosted their Dog Days of Summer event. So many puppies; some who wanted to meet everyone and others, like mine, who were happy to be kept out of the fray. I love the concept. By introducing dogs, people were less likely to start conversations with "what do you do?" and instead started by asking about the story of the dogs. I got to hear about these dogs' journeys, personalities, and even their fears and how their owners were helping them overcome those things that cause them anxiety.
