I love this, and the history of the Purdue Memorial Union. I served on the Student Union Board, 1986-88. I know a lot of the nooks and crannies of this amazing facility.

Wow! Thanks for sharing that snippet of history. I spent many hours in the Union both as a local kid spending days on campus while my father worked in the Armory and as a student studying or relaxing with friends. Now we go back and enjoy meeting with old friends or our own Purdue student. The Union has been a staple for us since stepping foot on campus.

The Purdue Memorial Union holds a special place in my heart and mind. Thousands of memories and special moments. I often passed through several times a day, studied and socialized there, maybe even napped a time or two.

An amazing building -- I spent some years at the Phi Delta Theta house just across State Street, gazing at that structure from the front porch!

Bob Mindrum is an amazing part of Purdue Memorial Union's history having overseen several renovations, etc. Thank you for your service, Bob. I will never forget my time on the Purdue Student Union Board (PSUB) and the memories I'll carry with me from the many days spent in that building!
