#AI startups that want to generate media coverage and organic traffic should develop data campaigns around topics discussed at the World Economic Forum in 2024. The WEF can drive media trends. Quick tips for AI startups: - Identify AI trends from the WEF, like the large interest in operations automation in the chart below. - Conduct research and tell a visual story from 10k statements to identify revenue, expenses or investments in AI tech. - Create a keyword list around the topic and data. - Use the keyword search in SparkToro's new V2 to find journalists and content creators, segmenting the list by journalist or site topic. Create 5+ topic segments. - Create 3-5 pitches and experiment with angles to uncover communities that are that the pitch resonates with. Run multiple experiments for 3-5 months. Not familiar with data campaigns in digital PR? A data campaign uses primary research or publicly available data to gain insights into a topic that is relevant to both your target personas and media trends. The company's experts provide media commentary to uncover actionable insights. Then, pitch the data and expert commentary as a story idea to the media. This method tends to yield brand mentions and links, but can also generate brand search for the expert's or company's name. This method is the cornerstone of my approach to digital PR. #seo #digitalpr #datacampaigns
