Establishing a protocol for discontinuing pursuit of candidates who are unlikely to proceed with your agency is important. This protocol includes clear criteria, such as unresponsiveness or divergence from your normal services offered. If a candidate continuously seeks excessive changes from your norm or adds new demands beyond reason, it's a clear indicator to move on. Automating repetitive tasks liberates your staff's time, allowing for more meaningful interactions with genuinely interested candidates.

When companies lock up their expert knowledge, everyone suffers. Over the past week, I’ve spent more than 2.5 hours in several tech support chats with Verizon, and I still have no fix for my DVR. Halfway through I asked a very specific question but the technician clearly didn't have the answer (or seemingly any way to access it). This made me think: are companies unintentionally silencing their knowledge experts? Valuable information might be trapped with a few individuals, leaving frontline staff without the tools to solve problems efficiently. This hurts everyone: ‣ Customers: We waste time & get frustrated. ‣ Employees: They feel powerless & can't shine. ‣ The Company: Wasted time, unhappy customers, & damaged reputation.
