Have you ever ran a "kubectl delete <something>" and then went oh crap? Or even worse "kubectl delete <something> --all" and used more colorful language? Attended a talk on kubectl/kustomize at Kubecon and was excited to see there is now a "-i" switch for delete to make it interactive and prompt with a "Are you sure?". Unfortunately it's not the default but there is a new Preferences feature coming for kubectl that will let you specify the default flags for every command. When that becomes available I'm definitely making this switch the default for me on delete.
