Hey Pythonistas! How is going? Remember that next week there will the first gathering of 2025! Giacomo Cavalieri will introduce us to Gleam, a new language that has Zen. We like Zens! After this, Pietro Peterlongo will speak about Nim, a Python-syntax-like Language, and how looking to a new language can improve your perspective about programming and maybe, contributing to an open source project. See ya there? Here is the Date! https://lnkd.in/depGJyuW

"Programming languages are just tools to solve problems." I’ve always been curious about programming languages and their ecosystems, so I’m starting a challenge in 2025 to learn one language every two months. The idea is simple: 🥇 Learn the language fundamentals. 🥈 Explore its frameworks (if applicable). 🥉 Build a real-world project. I’m starting with Python in January and February, focusing on Flask and building a Task Manager app. This challenge is not about speed—it’s about depth :) I’ll share updates here on LinkedIn, on Medium, and on X as I go, including lessons learned, challenges, and project demos. That’s my plan for 2025—what’s yours? 👀

Which Underrated Programming Language Should You Learn Next? Answers: https://lnkd.in/gpkyCzrE #ProgrammingLanguages #HiddenGems #TechTalk Hey everyone! 🌟 We often find ourselves caught up in the hype around popular programming languages like Python and JavaScript. But what about those underrated programming languages that don’t get enough recognition? 🤔 Let’s shine a light on these hidden gems! What’s a programming language you’ve encountered that you think deserves more love? Here are a few thoughts that might spark the conversation: Versatility: Some lesser-known languages have unique features that make them incredibly versatile. For instance, Elixir is fantastic for concurrent programming and can handle a high volume of connections with ease! 🚀 Simplicity: Languages like Lua are simple to learn and integrate perfectly with other applications, which can be super handy for game development. 🎮 Performance: Languages like Rust are getting more attention for their performance and memory safety. Have you tried it? How do you find it compared to more mainstream options? 🦀 So, I’d love to hear your take! What’s your personal favorite underrated programmi...

The Sierpinski Triangle is a well-known fractal that exhibits self-similarity, meaning it looks the same at different scales. This pattern is formed by recursively subdividing an equilateral triangle into smaller triangles. In this blog post, we'll explore how to generate a Sierpinski Triangle using the Go programming language. https://lnkd.in/gtywQQ7f

Which Programming Language Best Reveals Computer Mechanics? Answers: https://lnkd.in/gnnVZhNm #LowLevelProgramming #CodingJourney #ProgrammingLanguages Hey there, fellow coders! 👋 I’ve been diving deep into high-level programming with languages like Python and JavaScript, and while they feel like pure magic, I can’t help but feel like I’m missing out on the fundamentals. 🪄✨ I’ve never really gotten my hands dirty with low-level languages like C, Go, or Rust, and I’m starting to wonder if that’s holding me back from truly understanding how computers work. Here’s where I’m at: I want to dig deeper into how everything functions under the hood, especially when I run into issues like ORM errors or when someone casually mentions a linked list. 📚 I'm curious about being able to write a more efficient backend, something beyond just Python or JavaScript. 🔍 With all this talk about Go, Rust, and C, I’m trying to figure out which language will expose me the most to computer workings, helping me feel less like a “gluer” and more like a real coder. 🛠️ So, I’d love to hear your thoughts! What language do you think offers the best insight into how computers truly...

How Can I Easily Create a Fun Programming Language from Scratch? Answers: https://lnkd.in/gZjkWwAY #ProgrammingLanguages #LanguageCreation #Racket #CodingForFun Hey everyone! 😊 I’m diving into a fun little project of creating my own programming language, and I really want to get your thoughts on it! I’ve played around with some coding before, mainly Lua and Godot's GDScript. I’ve even tried my hand at a bit of C, but I wouldn’t say I'm an expert by any means. Today, I came across a cool video about Lisp, which led me to discover Racket. This opened my eyes a bit, and I think maybe it’s not just for the super-nerdy types who’ve been in the game for ages to create their own language. So, I’m eager to jump in and start experimenting with some syntax and quirky ideas! 🤓 Here's where I need your input: What tools or languages do you guys recommend for someone like me? Are there any simple frameworks that make the process more enjoyable? I've heard of Truffle for Graalvm, but I didn’t find much on it. What’s your take on that? Oh, and just a heads-up, I'm not looking to use Python for this project. I've seen some tools suggesting it, but I'm aiming for...
