My advice for companies - Don’t hire so many safety persons, safety at work is not policing, it is about system & rules. - Hire a competent safety manager to assist management in system improvement & training. My advice for safety professionals - Don’t collect too many certificates. safety is not about collecting certificates, level up your hard & soft skills, harnessing power of training. Get training with the right mentors. - Focus on system improvement. Safety is simple. Don’t make it complicated. P.S ; safety is everyone’s responsibility & everyone’s accountability + safety professionals should attain certifications through training & exam. #Safety #feedback #HSE When we conduct safety training, we often hear complaints from attendees about the top management not prioritizing safety, but that's not accurate. The management values people's safety above all and even pauses operations to assess the current situation. I think the issue lies in the lack of feedback on the progress made so far. We need a communication system that visually displays our journey from where we started to where we are now. It should also outline the objectives and obstacles that top management encounters with customers, including timelines for each task. Might be wrong but worth to explore ..:)
