Why should you start a Travel Blog? When it comes to content marketing, the travel and tourist sector relies heavily on blogs! Most of us receive emails from travel businesses in the form of travel advertisement, mentioning their hotels and packages. They're nothing but small blogs promoting their destination and services. The impact of travel blogs on the lives of millions of people around the world cannot be overstated. These blogs inspire adventure, develop trust and reputation, increase visibility and SEO, and tell engaging stories! Benefits of starting a Travel Blog: ▪️Raise Innovation and Competence. ▪️Deep introspection and individual development. ▪️Education and Learning. ▪️ Adaptability and autonomy. ▪️Preserving the Memories! Here, I won't fail to mention about an NGO, Laksh Foundation in Haryana, which has a farmhouse with some cottages they put on rent for travellers and tourists. (Recently, I have started their promotions online!) Since they have more audience on Instagram, the foundation started up their own travel blog with their farmhouse as their niche. As a result, their viewership has increased and they are getting more visitors, clients and volunteers! Thus, travel blogging is a great way to enhance your reach. Even if you don't own a travel company, travel blogging can make you go places and earn a good amount of income! Being fond of travelling, Travel blogging for 'TRIPLOU' inspired me to let people know how to start a travel blog, even if they're not traveling! "Travel is the only thing that you buy which makes you richer!" Start a Travel Blog today! #travel #blogging #course #earnmoneyonline #benefits #contentcreation #contentmarketing

So, you want to know how a city’s website can be a powerhouse for tourism for the whole community? I’m going to use Cherokee, Oklahoma, as an example because … well, I know it best. 😅 So, when I get online to search for “places to stay in Cherokee, Oklahoma,” here’s what I get. 20 corporate sites with listings of places to stay in my home town. I can book somewhere to stay, yes. That’s possible. But I have to book through corporate. Why? Because no where on the city’s website — or the Main Street (tourism) website —mentions “places to stay in Cherokee, Oklahoma.” So, with two websites focused on Cherokee, Oklahoma, Google is still sending me to corporate. Why? Because out of the 25,000,000 pages corporate has on their global website, one of them contains the keywords “places to stay in Cherokee, Oklahoma.” And how do I know this? Because I write these pages for global websites, and I and 20,000 other copywriters around the globe haven’t been out of work doing this since at least 2017. And there are still millions of new pages being added every day. So, how do you, as a town of 1,500-ish people in the middle of nowhere Northwest Oklahoma compete with that???? 😱😱😱 Simple, my homies. We win the war with words. You don’t need 25,000,000 website pages to win this war and score some extra tourism $$$ for the town. You just need keywords that match what people are looking for. Now, let’s go back to the two separate websites for the city and Main Street. What if … - we combine the two websites - add a page or two about things to do, places to stay, where to eat, where to shop, and day trips from Cherokee, Oklahoma - Tighten up that SEO for keywords the Google wants to see - And see what happens in a few months’ time? Actually, I can tell you what will happen. 🤭 With one, single website loaded up with keywords focused specifically on attractions and amenities in Cherokee, Oklahoma, the town will have a whopper of a website that Google can’t ignore. So, when someone searches for “places to stay in Cherokee, Oklahoma,” they’re not going to wind up on Airbnb or The Dyrt or any other corporate website’s one single measly page that actually knows nothing about the town of Cherokee, they’re going to end up on the City of Cherokee’s website, where they can not only find a place to stay or camp, but they can find things to do, places to shop, and places to see in Cherokee, Oklahoma … all without any “help” from corporate, and most importantly, all without any commissions going to corporate — and all benefits going to Cherokee’s community members. Now, before you criticize and say, “Well, that’s fine and dandy, but only 10 people a year search for places to stay in Cherokee.” True. And fair enough. But, also, I already thought of that. 😜 (This is my job, remember?) We’ll touch on countywide, regional, and statewide benefits of SEO in another post. 😃 Until next time 👋

Digital nomads are taking over the world, ya'll 😮 And while I think it's super nifty to see so many location independent people traveling while they work, over-tourism can be so so horrible for the locals. Protests are even breaking out in highly trafficked places like Venice, Mallorca, Paris, and Athens because the locals, frankly, are pretty pissed off. If you have summer vacation plans or you're dreaming of a faraway sunny place, here are some ways you can travel ethically, respect the locals, and the planet: 🚫 Avoid Airbnb- choose hotels or locally-owned guesthouses to help alleviate housing pressure and provide stable jobs for locals. 👍 Support local businesses- spend money in family-owned restaurants, local shops, and use local tour guides to directly benefit the community. 👍 Slow down your travels- instead of hopping between multiple cities, spend more time in fewer places. This reduces your carbon footprint and allows for a deeper connection with the destination. Traveling off-season is also much better. 🚫 Don't be a douche- respect the land and culture. Simple acts of courtesy, like learning basic local phrases and being mindful of noise and waste, go a long way. 👍 Listen to communities- adhere to local policies like tourist taxes and entry fees, and support destinations that prioritize sustainable tourism practices. 👍 Educate yourself and others- learn about the local history and current issues of the places you visit. Sharing this knowledge promotes sustainable travel practices among fellow travelers. We have to remember that access to these beautiful places is a privilege, not a right. When we travel responsibly, our trips can contribute positively to the communities we visit. But we have to rethink how we travel and strive to be part of the solution, not the problem. And yes, I'm going to have a whole section about this in my travel writing/digital nomad course because it's super important for the future of tourism! Have any other ethical travel tips??
