I used to wonder: How much impact can evaluation skills really have? I mean, isn’t feedback just about pointing out what went right and what didn’t? After years of honing my evaluation skills in Toastmasters and winning the Area N2 Evaluation Contest, I’ve learned that evaluation goes far beyond critique— it’s transformative. It has the power to shape people, build confidence, and even change lives. Let me explain how effective evaluators— the ones who truly inspire— use feedback to uplift, empower, and guide others to greatness. Imagine you’re a budding speaker, full of ideas but unsure how to communicate them. You’re on stage, ready to take a big leap, but feeling that bit of doubt creeping in. This is where the right evaluation can make all the difference. It’s the equivalent of having a coach who sees your potential and offers you the insights you need to unlock it. The best evaluators do three things: • They listen deeply to understand the speaker’s goals and aspirations. • They encourage strengths, celebrating what’s working to build confidence. • They guide with empathy, offering clear, actionable steps for growth. They silence criticism with encouragement and empower people to find their voice. They help transform self-doubt into self-belief. The way we give feedback can be where real growth begins— not just in public speaking but in personal and professional life. Speak like a mentor, listen like a friend, and watch people rise to their potential. Winning this contest isn’t just a milestone; it’s a testament to the power of evaluation. I’m incredibly grateful to my Toastmasters family at Gurukul Toastmasters Club for the chance to keep growing and empowering others through thoughtful feedback. A huge thank you to my mentors Anup Dubey, Mayuri Assudani, DTM, and Bhushan Nagpure for their unwavering support and guidance. I’m incredibly grateful to my Toastmasters family at Gurukul Toastmasters for the chance to keep growing and empowering others through thoughtful feedback.

BGT A lot of lessons to take from the ongoing BGT in australia:- 1. Being confident is good, but don't think your competitors are good for nothing. 2. Don't poke ,,, unnecessarily, or you'll see the consequences , ( Konstas poking bumrah for no reason). 3. Heros do fail,,tough time for kohli , rohit ,, , but still they are playing the game with all their might n patience. Embrace your failures, they are the best teachers. 4. Being calm is good, but sometimes you need to raise up to the ocassion and display your anger. ( Bumrah 's last ball ).

In both sports and life, continuous practice is essential for upgrading your skills and reducing potential obstacles in the future. It is also crucial to consider the variables. Your surroundings and circumstances might change, requiring you to adapt and adjust your strategies accordingly.
