QIC Real Estate’s Post

Last week QIC proudly supported the 2024 PropConnex National Real Estate Competition in Sydney. The annual event hosted student teams from a number of Australasian universities, each presenting innovative solutions to a property investment scenario before a judging panel of industry leaders including QIC’s own Briar Dowsett and Jacinta Mills (née Goutama), and chaired by Jonathan Johnstone.   In preparation for the competition, Sajanie Tennekoon, Kirsten Newman (née Steffensen), Erin Clark and Tom Brindle mentored the The University of Queensland team to help arm them with an industry-ready skillset. Although the team did not advance to the international finals, the judges unanimously praised the exceptional talent and creativity on display.   Briar Dowsett remarked: “Mentoring these promising young professionals reaffirms the bright future of our industry. Their innovative approaches and eagerness to learn from seasoned experts underscore the dynamic opportunities in real estate, and the team at QIC looks forward to working alongside these rising stars."   #RealEstateCareers #Employability #TalentDevelopment
