Friday Finale! Be the Disruptor in Your Industry… I want to wrap up a highly productive week in India where Prolitec Inc. along with our partner Nouvel Scenting, participated in the India International Hospitality Expo (IHE) 2024. Our presence at the event was more than just showcasing our innovative products and meeting potential clients; it was about stepping up as disruptors in the commercial ambient scenting industry. We took the stage at the Purchasing Professionals Forum to discuss topics that are core to Prolitec’s mission: Creation, Safety, and Sustainability. We addressed critical issues and highlighted the need for higher standards to ensure that India is on the right path towards excellence. By hitting these hot points, we aimed to challenge the status quo and push for improvements that displace existing market players who fall short of these standards. Prolitec's participation in IHE 2024 reaffirmed our unwavering commitment to providing cutting-edge, sustainable scent solutions that elevate the guest experience. The enthusiasm and interest we received were truly inspiring. How has the "big picture" of the labor market changed in recent years? What are the most significant changes we will face? Under the coordination of Marianna Skylakaki, Economist and CEO of athiNEA, discussion at the Papastratos S.A. kiosk at the TIF-HELEXPO, highlighted the critical challenges of the modern work environment through the key remarks of Themis Chasiotis, General Director of Communication & Sustainability at Papastratos, Manto Patsaoura, CEO of Kariera Group, and Giannis Charalampopoulos, Co-founder of Beetroot. The speakers focused on critical issues such as authentic leadership, diversity and employee care, emphasizing that the successful integration of these elements is essential for the sustainable growth of businesses in an era of technological and social change. Themis Chasiotis underlined that culture is about genuine connection, noting specifically: "Culture can be shaped even from a distance, as long as both the company and the employee want to be 'close' in essence, not necessarily 'physically close.' Culture is not about the location or geographical specification but about human connection." he said, referring to the substantial care for employees. "The greatest challenge in a working environment is to create an authentic and mutually beneficial relationship between the company and the employee, where everyone feels genuine commitment, not because they 'have to,' but because they truly want to." Giannis Charalampopoulos emphasized the importance of workplace quality, stating, “You need to first ensure a high-quality work environment and provide the necessary benefits to employees. Only then can you expect them to perform at their best”.
