The difficulties and importance of hiring bilingual customer support representative in North America Finding the right people: It can be tough to find candidates who not only speak two languages fluently but are also skilled in customer service. High competition for talent: Bilingual candidates are in high demand, and bigger companies often offer higher salaries, making it harder for smaller businesses to compete. Training and retention: Once you hire bilingual staff, they need proper training to switch smoothly between languages. Keeping them long-term can be a challenge because they often have other job offers. Why It’s Worth It Stronger customer loyalty: When customers feel heard and understood, they’re more likely to stick with you. Expanding your reach: Bilingual support opens the door to new customers and markets, helping you grow your business. Staying compliant: Meeting language requirements in certain regions keeps your business in good standing and avoids legal trouble. Hiring bilingual customer support reps may take some effort, but it’s an investment that pays off in customer satisfaction and business growth. #BilingualSupport #CustomerServiceChallenges #HiringBilingualTalent #CustomerSupportSolutions #MultilingualWorkforce #CustomerLoyaltyMatters #ExpandingMarkets #TalentRetention

HQ vs. Local Talent: When expanding globally, should you rely on native speakers from your headquarters or hire local talent? It's a balancing act between linguistic proficiency and cultural understanding. Consider a hybrid approach for authentic communication and operational efficiency. For example, we had a UK based Ai Tech company which needed to expand into the DACH region by April 24. With no time to waste, we hired a team of 2 AE's, 1 SDR and a Marketing Executive already living in the UK, all were German native speakers. All hired and started within 7 weeks. In the meanwhile the client was able to navigate the complexities of getting a legal entity set up in Germany. Now they are in the process of hiring local talent!! #GlobalStrategy #TalentAcquisition #MarketPenetration

About Finland, IT, sales, exports, hiring pool. It’s no secret: Finland’s IT service companies have relied on the local market too much. That is why the past year has been particularly difficult. We seem to have good news though. In 2024 Q2, ICT service exports have gone up more than any other year since 2021. Finland, don’t stop there. More international trade will: 👉 Diversify your clientele: more leads = more closed deals. 👉 Make hiring easier: expand your hiring pool as Finnish language will become less and less relevant. 👉 Make your company more resilient to instabilities of any single market. Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment: Finland needs at least 150 information and communications technology sales professionals. Based on current count of people with foreign background working in tech sales, internationals have the potential to fill only 17% of these jobs. This doesn’t make sense. ❌ You don’t need your sales rep to be Finnish or speak fluent Finnish. You need your sales rep to speak: ✔️ Sales, ✔️ Your product, and ✔️ Your target client language. ❓ Which markets could Finnish companies direct their tech sales to? ----- Hi, I'm Vaida 👋 For Finland’s labour market and Human-Centric Hiring, Follow, connect, click 🔔
