When I’m helping a team implement discovery, I’ll often get asked ‘Who should be involved?’ The short answer is, the entire product team. Because most teams have never actually seen their work fail. They’ve never felt the discomfort of watching a real person struggle with what the team has created. And they’ve never had to brush off that feeling and go fix the problems with their product. Without that experience, customers are just an abstract concept. Discovery is where the theory of creating products is translated into reality. So why wouldn’t you want your whole team involved in that?

Creativity in Product: Lessons from a Cool Piece of Art 🚐 I had the chance to check out this incredible piece by Kim Adams, "Bruegel-Bosch Bus", and it got me thinking about how art and product management may have some things in common. As this artwork was built with different pieces and details, managing a product is about bringing together various parts—teams, ideas, and solutions to create something meaningful. 💡 Here's what the experience reminded me of: ➡ It's all in the details: Every little piece in this artwork has its place, just like every part of a product needs attention to detail. ➡ Teamwork: This piece is a mix of so many elements working together, which is basically how cross-functional teams work to make a product come to life. ➡ Big Vision: Bruegel-Bosch Bus is bold and innovative, and in product management, we need to be just as creative to make our ideas stand out and solve problems. It is a great reminder that everything we build is a little like art—carefully crafted, full of detail, and the result of collaboration. When look back : The most interesting moment through the years in product development world for me is when something does not work as expected. There is something fundamental wrong in the assumption of the core team. Design target has to be modified and the team has to find something that works within very short amount of time while still maintain the product vision. The key of those hard lessons is not trying to avoid this by doing something conservative or downgrade product vision too soon. Interestingly, what needs to happen is the opposite: build the mental power to endure those hard moments and create a strong team culture to accept "something does not work" is part of the product discovery journey instead judge the failure. #frontendinnovation #productdevelopment #industrialdesign

Building a Dream Team: The Heart of Every Start-Up Starting a company is an exciting journey, but one of the most challenging aspects is building a strong, intelligent, and cohesive team that can navigate the highs and lows of start-up life together. It’s not just about finding the right skills—it’s about finding the right people who will support, challenge and encourage each other. Infiniti is incredibly proud to share a moment with some of the remarkable individuals that make up our core team: our Senior Mechatronics Engineer, Head of Strategic Operations, and Chief of Staff. These leaders embody the drive, resilience, and teamwork needed to push our vision forward. Taking the plunge and starting up on your own is a tough decision. There are moments of uncertainty and periods of non-stop decision-making, but when you have a group of people who not only bring their unique expertise to the table but also genuinely get along, it makes all the difference. We support each other, challenge each other, and most importantly, enjoy a team social together (our next team social is crazy golf!) As we continue on this journey, we’re excited to keep expanding our team and bring even more brilliant minds into the fold. We’ll be sharing introductions of each team member in the coming weeks to highlight their individual strengths and the incredible contributions they’ve made. Here’s to the future—we can’t wait to see what’s next! #startupLife #teamwork #growth #hiring #leadership #innovation #success

Happy World Product Day! Today, we recognize the profound impact that products have on our lives and the brilliant minds behind them. As we honor this day, let's remember the importance of building simple solutions that make a difference. In an increasingly complex world, the #products that truly stand out are the ones that simplify our lives and help us achieve our #goals with ease. This day reminds us to continue creating #solutions that solve real problems and add value for our users. It's not just about innovation, but about understanding the needs of our users and designing products that meet those needs in the simplest way possible. As Juan M. Lavista Ferres once said, "Building simple solutions is hard, but it's certainly worth it." Simplicity is not just a #design principle, but a mindset that should guide every aspect of the product development process. From ideation to launch, we must strive to build products that are intuitive, easy to use, and deliver real value to our users. As my boss David Shittu always says, "Good design is simple." Let's celebrate the power of simplicity and the value it brings to our users. Cheers to building simple solutions that make a difference! ................................................................ My name is Samuel AJAYI-WALDORF; The #Global Man. I am committed to helping individuals, career professionals, and corporate enterprises thrive in the positive direction through a wide range of skill sets (check my profile headline) Connect with me (if you haven't). When a valued client approached us with a challenge—creating a demo product in half the time initially scoped—we knew we had to make it happen. Initially estimated to take six months, the project had to be completed much faster to meet a critical deadline. After aligning internally, we doubled our design and development resources to ensure quality wasn't compromised. The client understood the increased cost but focused on achieving their critical deadline. As we prepare to deploy the final product, we're proud to have helped our client meet their goals and expand into new markets. At Divami - Design & AI-Led Product Engineering, we're more than just a service provider—a supportive partner dedicated to our client's success. #RelationshipManagement #AccountMining #ClientSuccess #Teamwork #ProductDelivery #Divami #AILedProductEngineering

Want to create a product vision that truly inspires your team? 💫 Think of it as the guiding star for your product, something aspirational and clear about what you're building and why it matters. Here are some key things to remember: * Focus on the "why": Why does your product exist? What problem are you solving? What difference will it make in people's lives? * Be specific: Who is your target audience? What are their needs and desires? How will your product address them uniquely? * Keep it concise: A strong product vision is short and memorable. Think of a sentence or two that captures the essence of your product. * Make it aspirational: Your vision should be ambitious and exciting. It should paint a picture of the future you're trying to create. * Share it widely: Make sure everyone on your team understands and embraces your product vision. Use it as a touchstone for decision-making and prioritize efforts that align with it. A strong product vision will not only guide your development but also attract talent, investors, and customers who believe in what you're building. 🚀 https://lnkd.in/dm7-jpcV
