What if our digital interfaces could truly adapt to how we live? Together with Jake Z. and Fractal Tech, we're hosting a hackathon to explore a future beyond rigid frameworks—where UI/UX becomes truly flexible and generative. Imagine an OS that surfaces your workout playlist the moment you connect headphones at the gym or brings travel apps front and center when you’re at the airport. Think tools and interfaces that reshape themselves based on your context and needs, reducing clicks and searches so you can focus on what matters. Take it further: development environments that adjust complexity as you learn, workflows that align with your thinking, and design tools that evolve alongside your creativity. This hackathon is a space for developers, AI researchers, and designers to imagine, build, and prototype the next generation of adaptive digital experiences. It’s not just about personalized content—it’s about tools that grow with you, anticipating and enriching every interaction. We’re thrilled to have the support of frog, a global leader in design and innovation, and Dessn, a rising platform leveraging generative UI to empower designers Ready to shape the future of adaptable interfaces? One of the most interesting use cases for GenAI is - what does software look like when an app can understand and adapt to your needs in realtime? Excited to hack on this!

"Wrapping up my first week with Techwitsclan as a UI/UX student, and it’s been an exciting start! Delving into the fundamentals of information architecture was enlightening, learning to organize and structure content for an intuitive user experience. I also designed my first signup page, focusing on simplicity and user flow. Grateful for the opportunity to learn, grow, and build these essential skills alongside the talented #Techwitsclan community. Looking forward to the journey ahead! #learnandgrowwithtechwitsclan #arowosegbefoundation #cohort3 #techwitsclan #productdesign"

Had so much fun yesterday at the first Q&A call for my summer UX Portfolio Sprint. It was such a great discussion with the 30ish people who've committed to tackling their portfolios and stopping procrastinating! At the Q&A we discussed: 1) Deciding which projects to include Some people have worked in UX for 15+ years, and they have a lot of possible work to show. We discussed different factors to consider when deciding which projects to include. 2) How to deal with large projects Some people have projects that are 2 - 5 years long! We discussed how they might only focus on specific parts of the project rather than trying to show years' worth of work. 3) Portfolio websites versus presentations We discussed the product strategy of each (eg. presentation vs website) as well as some ideas for how to decide which format makes sense for you. If you're in the UX Portfolio Sprint, yesterday's Q&A recording is in the community, and our next Q&A call is on Tuesday! If you'd like to join Career Strategy Lab's current UX Portfolio Sprint, head over to the waitlist page. We have space for about 5 more people if you want to join the summer cohort! Wanna know why you haven't finished your UX portfolio yet? After teaching about UX portfolios since 2017, it's become clear that most UX and Product people don't have a portfolio that works because of 2 things: 1) Procrastination 2) Perfection Creating a strong UX portfolio doesn't get easier as you get more experience. Honestly, it just gets harder! When you have 10, 15, 20 years of experience, you have more work to show and you agonize over what to focus on. And your indecision and overthinking lead to procrastination. Then, when you finally try to focus on your portfolio, you keep trashing it and starting over because you're caught in a perfection trap. If creating a portfolio has been on your to-do list for a while, but you're caught in perfection or procrastination, then you're the exact type of person I'd love to help in the UX Portfolio Sprint. In the UX Portfolio Sprint you'll have access to our detailed trainings, tutorials, and templates as well as our private community, live calls, and 2 portfolio critiques if you choose to add those on at checkout. Learn more or join: https://lnkd.in/e_zpR53B Watch a sample lesson: https://lnkd.in/e9QSnMQ5 ⏰ Enrollment for the summer 2024 cohort of the UX Portfolio Sprint ends today (July 12) and won't open again until 2025. What would it mean to your career (and life) if you had a portfolio that was ready to use for job applications, performance reviews, or to email to potential freelance clients? Imagine if, by the end of August (or sooner), you had a portfolio that you were confident in, which led to interviews and possibly job offers! Hope to see you at the calls and in the community very soon!!! #uxdesigner #ux #uxportfolio #uxjobs #uxcareers #productdesign #uxresearch

We at What The *UX not only learn about the UI and UX, we learn about the self marketing, soft skills, building discipline, and much more things. Glad to hear these amazing words from last batch mentees. #uiux #uxdesign #uidesign #whattheux #designer
𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝘂𝗻𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴—𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝘆 𝗨𝗜/𝗨𝗫 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲! ✨ It has been an incredible opportunity to learn and grow over the past two months through the UI/UX Bootcamp by "𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 *𝗨𝗫". Thanks to Ajay Soni, my mentor for this journey, whose insights, guidance, and endless discussions have fueled my curiosity. Gaining such significant insights about user-centered design through this boot camp, one gain about doing research and how small decisions can create big impacts—from learning to think creatively of user needs to refining of the design process, for that experience has been a game changer for me. Sharing a snapshot from the sessions 📸—because this journey deserves to be remembered! #UIUXDesign #LearningJourney #WhatTheUX #Grateful #DesignThinking
