🍍When judging the quality of a heat transfer print, three key points come into play. Firstly, the color vividness is essential. Bright and true-to-life colors make the print stand out. 🍎Secondly, the durability matters. A good heat transfer should withstand frequent washes and usage without fading or peeling. 🍐Last but not least, the clarity and sharpness of the image or pattern are crucial. A clear and detailed print looks more attractive. #Heat Transfer #Color #Durability #Clarity #Quality #Print #Image #3d

#ThinkTankThursdays with Color Management Group. How many colors can we see exactly and how do we test humans for color vision? Those of us with normal color vision can see millions of colors but the exact number is different on each person and the context of viewing. We can see the most differences between colors when we lay them out sequentially. If we flash up colors one at a time it's hard for most of us to tell the difference between colors. Depending on how we're viewing the colors it could be possible to differentiate between hundreds, thousands, hundreds of thousands, or even millions of colors. So how do we check how many colors a person can see? There are a variety of color vision tests out there from Ishihara plates to check for color blindness to the Farnsworth Munsell 100-Hue test which is often used to test people who need discriminant color vision for their job. Their are numerous online tests as well but those are not as accurate as the physical tests that you can purchase. You can find out more about the Farnsworth Munsell tests here: https://bit.ly/3SBJvtK #print #colormanagement #printing #graphicdesign

👉 High resolution lithography. This refers to print created using the lithographic process that produces high quality prints. The term 'high resolution' means that the lithograph has been created at a high DPI (dots per inch) and we have found best results with 175 to 200 DPI which allows you to achieve good ink coverage on most stocks ie ink density and colour lift. For best results we use high quality paper and inks. High-res lithographs are often used in art prints, posters and collectibles due to their exceptional detail and colour fidelity. #thepeoplesprinter #highreslithography

No, "mottling" is not a new trendy holiday drink you can order in a festive red cup. Rather, when ink is absorbed at different rates, it can create a blotchy or non-uniform look that is commonly most apparent in solids and image midtones. That's what mottling is. This has been a PSA. May your holiday season be mottle-free. ❤️ For more inkjet design definitions you should know, check out this article: https://hubs.li/Q02Zs1qp0 #Mottling #GraphicDesign #Print

Let’s disseminate the difference 8bit and 16bit colors. 📌8BIT Up to 16.7 million colors can be displayed in an 8-bit image, and up to 281 trillion colors can be displayed in a 16-bit image. 📌 16BIT 16-Bit photos are better for printing and editing since they have more depth and a greater variety of colors. 8-Bit images are more frequently utilized for small prints and web graphics. #linkedindesigner #creator #productdesign

Is white actually a colour? ⚪ Yes and no. Unlike the colours of the rainbow, white is not a so-called spectral colour. While colours such as red, blue or green cannot be further broken down into other colours, white is actually made up of all colours together. Remember Isaac Newton? As early as 1671, he used a prism to show that white light can be broken down into the colours of the rainbow. From a purely physical point of view, white is therefore different from the "normal" colours. But in our everyday lives, we still refer to white as a colour and associate it (at least in Europe) with peace or purity, for example. In parts of Asia, however, white is also associated with mourning and death. What does the colour white mean to you? Let us know in the comments below! #colours #printing #inks #white
