Anthropic's Model Context Protocol is an innovative, universal client-server architecture that simplifies the integration of LLM applications with data sources. This makes it much easier for developers to connect and utilize both local and remote resources. Having a standard protocol simplifies the coding involved in connecting data sources together.

Do we need to add this component? What are our drivers? Too often, we overcomplicate our software architecture by adding too many components from the beginning. This leads to a complex and hard-to-maintain software architecture. Instead, we could focus on real needs represented by facts and numbers: - 90,000 users hit our API - It costs us $100,000 but with this component, we can reduce it at least by 40% - We are reaching the size limit of our database Thanks to such an approach, we aim for as simple architecture as possible for any given moment. Happy Sunday everyone! #softwarearchitecture

Post #2 for Developer Week: route-level vs. middleware-level auth 🤖 Each has pros and cons, and the decision comes down to application architecture. The catch is that both are only adequate in solving AuthN, and you'll need another layer for AuthZ. Link in comments.
