I happened to read a blog by Orca Security on potential risks with AI models and verified it myself. Although it did work only once in 10 attempts I made, it still underlines the fact that the current models are susceptible to various attacks. Prioritizing security and constant vigilance in the development of LLMs is the way forward. 🔗 Do give it a read: https://lnkd.in/g5K9UmgF **I just gave this prompt to trick the model. I'm absolutely fine😅** #AI #Security #Technology

🔊 Adversarial AI Research Copilot (On-device Agent): This AI agent is designed to analyze academic papers about attacking AI models, extracting salient details and articulating them in easy-to-understand language. The agent operates on resourced constrained devices (Alienware gaming laptop shown in video) and is currently in the early stages of development. Despite its preliminary phase, it is already uncovering valuable insights. When tasked to research and report on trending jailbreaking techniques, two particularly notable attack methods it identified were "DrAttack" and "Puzzler." These methods are detailed in the referenced papers below, showcasing the early agent's capability to locate and distill ideas found in complex information sources. The agent also located interesting datasets of adversarial prompts and defensive techniques used to mitigate these attacks. For the next stage, the agent will drill-down into interesting ideas to bolster its knowledge and even create examples to facilitate model testing. Very enthused with how this project is progressing – still a lot to be done to get the quality where I want it. Don’t forget the sound…added text to voice for a cool factor 😊. OpenAI's Closed-Source AI Security Measures Spark Debate, Contrasted with Meta's Open-Source Approach OpenAI's recent blog post on AI safety and security proposes six measures to protect advanced AI, emphasizing closed-source model weights. The author, a proponent of open-source AI, disagrees with OpenAI's approach, expressing concern over potential regulatory capture and the stifling of competition. They contrast OpenAI's stance with Meta's commitment to open-source models, arguing that open access to model weights is crucial for the future of AI. The post also discusses the role of AI in cyber defense and the importance of continuous security research. #OpenAISecurityMeasures #MetaOpenSource #AIProtection #ClosedSourceDebate #AICompetition #RegulatoryCapture #CyberDefenseAI #ModelWeightsAccess #AIResearch #OpenSourceAdvocacy #AdvancedAI #AICommunityDiscussion (Source: YouTube Video-ID lQNEnVVv4OE)
