Diffusion models took the world of GenAI by storm in the last couple of years, and robotics is no different. This year, a new contender emerged: Flow Matching. We have seen in recent months multiple high-profile projects switching from diffusion to flow matching: Stable Diffusion 3 from Stability AI, Flux from Black Forest Labs, FoldFlow from Dreamfold, and last month MovieGen from Meta. But what about Robotics? Is Flow Matching a strong contender for robot policy learning? We investigate this in our latest work!
