I'm thrilled to be awarded the Public Leadership Credential from Harvard Kennedy School. Following such a challenging and valuable learning experience (3 years, six courses, more than thirty modules, highly engaging lessons, Harvard-style case studies and a final capstone assessment), has advanced my skills and shaped my thinking on public leadership and today’s global issues. I found it very rewarding to engage with fellow learners from all over the world. ARC seeking applicants to 2024-25 Appalachian Leadership Institute!   The Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) is excited to announce that they are now accepting applications for the upcoming class of the Appalachian Leadership Institute! This unique, nine-month leadership program offers intensive training in Economic Development, designed exclusively for those living or working in Appalachia. The program runs from October 2024 to June 2025, and the application deadline is June 1. There is no cost to participate and you will have the opportunity to engage in a transformative experience. Applicants will receive comprehensive training and participate in six multi-day seminars that will focus on skill-building, mentoring, and networking. There will be a focus on economic development and participants will learn directly from experts and leaders who are dedicated to Appalachia’s growth.
