Quirepace Ltd.’s Post

When the Merchant Navy Locomotive Preservation Society needed to replace their very old BVC Vacuum they came to BVC Quirepace. Chris (Senior Engineer) said we have been using a BVC vacuum for decades to clean out the soot box on our 1948 Steam locomotive Clan Line No 35028 so it made sense to came back to them to supply us a new unit. Patrick came to look at the loco and recommended a 4kw vacuum for the task, because we are a charity Quirepace helped us to purchase the vacuum and even delivered it on a Saturday when our team of volunteers are on site. Thanks very much! Patrick said; My father was a railway man for 30 years so when the enquiry came in, I was straight down to the depo in London to meet the team. When selling to a charity we know funds can be tight so we will always try to help with the purchase. I was more than happy to deliver the vacuum myself on a Saturday (and spend more time around this magnificent looking engine). We offer free friendly visits and demonstrations country wide, just reach out and we can arrange something. www.quirepace.co.uk #BVC #vacuumclean #locomotive #locomotivepreservation #steamlocomotive #steamtrainsofbritain #IndustrialVacuumCleaner #industrialcleaning
