At Mobycon we like to showcase good practices, do applied research and develop strategies, plans and recommendations. But sometimes we need to dig a bit deeper to find the problem behind the problem if we really want to solve it. Often this brings us to the field of governance (active stakeholder empowerment), transformative government (holistic cross-department working), norms & values (culture), impact making (long term societal change), and balancing between soft and hard factors (behaviour and infrastructure). I wrote a 2 blogs about the difference in 'guidelines culture' between Germany and The Netherlands for this reason.
