It was a pleasure to collaborate alongside partners IFF, Danish Crown, BioInnovation Institute, Arla Foods and Potter Clarkson to shorlist the finalists and together with the audience vote the winners in Aarhus last week: 𝐁𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡 - Nanovera extends fresh food shelf life. 🌍 Transformative action to restore and protect #biodiversity is already underway. As #CBDCOP16 unfolds, businesses continue to take collective action in scaling up regenerative agriculture to safeguard biodiversity, supporting the goals of National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plans (NBSAPs) worldwide. OP2B members are leading the way with $3.6 billion invested, 300,000+ farmers engaged, and 3.9 million hectares of land impacted, we are scaling regenerative agriculture to new heights. By 2030, our members aim to expand these practices across 12.5 million hectares—roughly the size of England.  OP2B members are accelerating action through 72 regenerative agriculture programs in direct partnership with farmers. These initiatives deliver tangible benefits such as enhanced biodiversity, healthier soil, and reduced input costs while demonstrating the powerful role that regenerative agriculture plays not only in promoting biodiversity but also in enhancing the overall sustainability of our agrifood systems. 🚜#Agrifood | Navarra promotes the reduction of non-biodegradable plastics in food packaging as one of its main strategic thrusts The Department of Industry, Ecological and Digital Business Transformation has funded with 1.4 million euros the Zero Plastics project, which seeks to replace plastic packaging of food products with more sustainable options. This initiative is part of the ecological transition process, one of the main strategic lines included in the region’s Sustainable Strategy for Intelligent Development (S4).
