This past Wednesday, November 13th, I had the privilege of joining PRA Group for an insightful discussion on the critical topics of men's health, mental health stigmas, and the societal barriers that often prevent men from seeking help. It was a powerful conversation that explored common health challenges faced by men and how we can collectively work to reduce stigma and create a more supportive environment for mental wellness. A big thank you to the PRA Group (Nasdaq: PRAA) team for hosting such an important event and for fostering an open dialogue on these crucial issues. It was an honor to contribute to the conversation. As we continue this important work, I’m available to help individuals or organizations dive deeper into these topics. Whether you're looking to understand men's mental health challenges more deeply or exploring strategies for reducing stigma, feel free to reach out. Let’s continue the conversation and work toward lasting change in mental health support. #MensHealth #MentalHealthAwareness #BreakingStigma #Therapy #Support #MentalWellness #PRAGroup #Healthcare #Community #WellBeing #OpenDialogue #AvailableToHelp #EndTheStigma #MentalHealthMatters #MentalHealthSupport #MenTalkToo #MentalHealthForMen #WellnessJourney #StigmaFree #SelfCare #TherapistsOfLinkedIn #MentalHealthProfessionals #MaleMentalHealth #MentalHealthResources #BreakingBarriers #SpeakUpForMentalHealth #HealingTogether #PositiveMentalHealth #InclusiveWellness #MenDeserveCare

Each year, over 700,000 lives are lost to suicide globally, and truth is - every conversation can be a lifeline. This year's theme, “𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞”, reminds us of the power in breaking the silence. We are grateful for organizations across the #AfricanContinent working hard to promote mental health wellness, provide therapeutic support and preventive measures to all who need it. What can you and I do? We can start the conversation today—your words may save a life. #WSPD2024 #WorldSuicidePreventionDay #MentalHealthMatters #StartTheConversation

Think of mental health and therapy as the foundation of a thriving society – because it is. 🌱🤝🏿 Every dollar invested in mental health reaps returns in better wellness and increased productivity. The stronger a person’s support network, the greater their ability to make meaningful contributions to society. As an Licensed Professional Counselor, I’ve seen firsthand how treatment, counseling and support help individuals find hope, set clear goals, and embrace their bigger purpose. 💖 With more accessibility, treatment can also reduce healthcare costs by alleviating stress-related illnesses. 🏥 If you or your team are seeking effective ways to create a culture of wellness in your workplace, I can help. ▸ https://lnkd.in/dXMPHBcf #AngelaMoore #EmpoweredbyAngela #HealthandWellness #MentalHealth #MentalHealthTreatment

This week, hasn't been widely talked about at all. My social media hasn't been swamped as normal, like other larger scale wellbeing events. Is this showing that there is still a stigma around this topic? ☹️ It's Men's mental health week. A week that aims to raise awareness of men’s health and to encourage all men to seek help to address any health concerns that they may be experiencing. I believe that there is no health without mental health, and I wholeheartedly advocate for everyone seeking help when they need it, regardless of gender. This doesn't need talking about, it needs shouting about and soon. Time for the government to step up and take action. #mensmentalhealthweek #shout #awareness #takeaction #support
