🥑 Do you believe that an avocado shipped halfway around the world to the UK can provide the same level of nutritional and environmental quantum coherence as one picked fresh from the tree and eaten in its natural environment? The nutritional and energetic value of food is profoundly influenced by its origin and the environment in which it is grown and consumed. These fundamental concepts about nutrition are often overlooked by "food gurus" and "scientific experts," who focus solely on macronutrients and micronutrients, missing the bigger picture of how food interacts with the body on a deeper level. This argument is not well thought through. There are numerous unsubstantiated assumptions and intellectual gymnastics. Show me the evidence of a decline in nutritional value for transported avos. The first sentence is "Do you believe...". Belief is irrelevant. What are the facts. I do not understand the meaning of the statement "...how food interacts with the body on a deeper level". Suddenly the narrative about fruit being picked early and transported changes to "one diet fits all". If you don't know where you are going then any road will take you there.
The best thing is to grow it yourself in your own healthy garden (or at the organic farmer around the corner)
You make an expert informed commentary about how travel can substantially degrade nutritional quality. There is also a taste difference compared to local produce. On top of that there is the environmental damage cost of travel. Buy local, the closer the better.
