September marks 2 years since returning to Institute for the Future. In addition to all of the fun things COOs do (hello contract reviews! ;)), I have carved out some time to explore timely topics with stimulating partners: future of climate, future of the creative economy, future of philanthropy, future of housing & community development, future of Black parity in infrastructure, future of higher ed, future of AI & Inclusion and more. Today, I looked back through old IFTF report titles…here are a few favorites: +Group Communication Through Computers (1970) +Words as Predictors of Social Movements (1975) +The Promise and Pitfalls of Electronic Shopping (1980) +Telecommuting Trends (1990) +Lessons from Infomated Households (1990)... It is such an honor to be part of this history of inquiry. #LookBackToLookForward #StrategicForesight
