𝗜 𝗴𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗴𝗹𝗲! Two days ago I spoke to Google employees about how to 𝟭𝟬𝟬𝘅 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 of their charitable giving this year by thinking 𝗟𝗘𝗦𝗦 like donors and 𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗘 like investors. When we invest to maximize our financial returns, we’re methodical and: • Set ambitious goals • Focus on the ROI of our investments • Create systems to ensure our money goes as far as it can 𝗦𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴? Just as we do when investing, we can: • Set ambitious impact goals • Focus on the outcomes our donations can create • And create systems to ensure that we’re maximizing our impact, day in and day out Supporting the average charity can mean 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝟵𝟵% of our potential impact, so why leave it up to chance? Reach out for a 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 30-min advising call with our Ellis Impact team to discuss your philanthropic end-of-year goals for 2024.

We are LIVE! And we've got 72 HOURS to DOUBLE every dollar that's donated. Donate here: https://lnkd.in/gZSmsaJu Formed in 2021, the Quarles Foundation is an embodiment of Bill R. Quarles’ vision. As the patriarch of the Quarles family, he has always been a firm believer in self-determination through entrepreneurship. In that spirit, the foundation was created to support current and aspiring entrepreneurs. Most recently, the foundation received a $10,000 grant from Amazon Community to launch a Youth Ambassador program, designed to expose high schoolers across the country to the intersection of entrepreneurship and international relations. In a world that is becoming increasingly interconnected, the entrepreneurs of tomorrow must have a global perspective. As such, the Youth Ambassador program will enable high-schoolers to interact with global corporations, to understand the role of technology in globalization, and to learn from international business leaders. The Quarles Foundation has challenged itself to DOUBLE THIS $10,000 GRANT OVER THE COURSE OF 72 HOURS, STARTING ON DECEMBER 10, 2024. THE IMPACT OF EVERY DOLLAR DONATED BETWEEN DEC 10 and DEC 12 WILL BE DOUBLED. #legacy #family #entrepreneurship #internationalrelations #amazon

With 1.9 million nonprofits, it's critical for nonprofit tech companies to ONLY dedicate resources to organizations who are your best fit. This isn’t to say you stop working with existing customers who are no longer your ideal customer. It means you don’t spend time chasing after prospects who will never be a good fit. Here's a few things that can happen when your ideal customer profile (ICP) isn't inaccurate:

Paul F Morris is the Founder/Principal of Foundry Fundraising. We talk about the nonprofit sector’s use of technology. #Technology won’t do the work for you and doesn’t solve all your problems. Nonprofits are woefully underinvesting in the technology tools needed, especially for development. Among the things we discuss: * Nonprofits don’t have to invest wildly, they can and should be smart about it. The right tools supports the work. * The impact of this underinvestment? Wasting a ton of time – staff, stakeholders, volunteers, donors. * The risk to not investing has short-term and long-term impacts. #technologyplanning

I don't really remember a time before the Internet when you couldn't immediately Google a question, hop on a Zoom call with colleagues around the world, or look up directions. It's so ingrained in my life that it could be taken for granted. But this Internet we know and love could deteriorate if we don’t take action. To look at one statistic, so far in 2024, there have been 17 Internet shutdowns. Despite how many may try, the Internet was never meant to be run by a single entity, government, or corporation. It’s always been a resource by people, for people. It's on each of us to work to keep the Internet open, globally connected, secure, and trustworthy. Show your support with a donation today and join our team to Run the Internet! https://lnkd.in/e-TuJGkq As a global charitable organization, the Internet Society relies on support from people like you, who also care about the future of the Internet. 100% of your donations will support our work, closing the digital divide and keeping the Internet trustworthy. #RunTheInternet

I had the privilege of speaking with ECHO Technology Solutions CEO, Sejo Jahic, and iATS' own Kate Wensel, Board President of a small nonprofit, about the role of technology for nonprofits. Sejo shared insights on leading tech transformations, while Kate highlighted the challenges of driving change with limited resources. Here are a few of my favourite moments of the conversation. Enjoy! 🎥 Watch the full recording here: https://lnkd.in/d2VH3ymy #techforgood #techfornonprofits #digitaltransformation
