🌽 From Farm to Future with National Corn Growers Association! 🌽 We are proud to partner with National Corn Growers Association for the Radicle Corn Value Chain Challenge. Kansas corn grower and Chairman of the NCGA New Uses & Research Action Team Chad Epler highlights the importance of this initiative: “U.S. corn farmers continue to produce an affordable, high-quality and reliable crop each year. That crop can be turned into more than just food, feed and fuel. The corn kernel can be utilized in so many ways, which is why we focus on new uses and corn as an industrial feedstock. NCGA is excited to continue to partner across the agricultural and biotech industry to help a variety of new technologies overcome barriers to commercialization so they can begin to grind more corn.” Together, we’re working to ensure that innovative ideas come to life, driving demand and supporting the future of our corn farmers! 🚀 To register to watch the livestream of the Challenge, please visit: https://lnkd.in/gRemHJ8X. #RadicleChallenge #AgTech #Innovation #SustainableAgriculture #CornValueChain Thank you to all our Challenge partners: Iowa Corn National Corn Growers Association IL Corn Colorado Corn Promotion Council Kansas Corn KENTUCKY CORN GROWERS ASSOCIATION South Dakota Corn Ohio Corn & Wheat Nebraska Corn Board Michigan Corn

Congratulations to Nick Preissler from Aurora, Nebraska, who has won the inaugural Nitrogen Management Pilot Class in the 2023 National Corn Yield Contest. Preissler, who farms with his dad, grandpa, and uncle achieved an impressive 312.9688 bushels per acre while using 180 lbs or less of nitrogen. This accomplishment demonstrates how Nebraska farmers are at the forefront of sustainable agriculture, successfully balancing high yields with efficient input use. It exemplifies our mission to connect Nebraska's sustainably produced commodities with growing global-market demand. Looking ahead, Preissler is entering the nitrogen management class again in 2024. He plans to further refine his approach by reducing his base nitrogen rate and utilizing in-season monitoring to determine additional application needs. This strategy showcases the ongoing commitment to improvement and efficiency in Nebraska's agricultural sector. Preissler's success and continued innovation highlight Nebraska's position as a leader in sustainable, high-yield corn production, contributing to our state's agricultural prominence on the global stage. Farmers interested in the "J. nitrogen management class" for the nitrogen contest can register until Aug. 14th. The class is open for the first 100 corn producer registrants from Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio, and Wisconsin. Novonesis’ nitrogen-fixing solutions for crops are already a proven success, helping growers to maximize yield. Now we are pleased to announce the latest addition for soybean - Cell-Tech® XC. A newly formulated product containing two specially selected strains of Bradyrhizobium, Cell-Tech® XC is designed for seed treaters who value convenience, efficiency, performance and price. It provides highly effective nodulation to enhance nitrogen fixation, even in cooler soils. But that’s not all: 🌱 Low use rate: provides more space on the seed to add other products if needed ⌛ Longer on-seed survivability: more seed can be treated and seed treaters have more time to sell already treated seed ⚡ Dual Strain: double the power provides growers with higher yields. When we began the Corn Belt Ports Initiative in the fall of 2019, there were zero U.S. Ports (listed and ranked on the annual U.S. Ports List) inside of the Corn Belt's lock and dam system (above L/D 26) between Metropolitan St. Louis and Chicago, and between Metropolitan St. Louis and St. Paul. We appreciate the Illinois Farm Bureau (and other organizations with like minds) legislatively championing more Rural U.S. Port options to get our farmer's agricultural products to global markets.
