Transforming our corn production system means delivering real benefits to growers. In 2023, we collaborated with 365 farmers across Europe and the U.S. through the Groundbreakers programme to explore the Preceon Smart Corn system. 📌The results were promising- over 80% of participants were eager to plant it again! One of the standout benefits is enhanced protection, significantly reducing green snap events by 80% and lodging by 50% during severe weather. This resilience is crucial for farmers facing unpredictable conditions. Additionally, the system allows growers to maintain their current practices while enjoying easier access to crops later in the season, which ultimately helps optimise yields. We’re also focused on unlocking the full yield potential by fine-tuning crop inputs and field placements, ensuring we maximise the genetic advantages of our corn varieties. By working closely with farmers, we’re not just improving production; we’re fostering a more sustainable and resilient agricultural future.🌽💪 #TeamBayer #SustainableAgriculture #Innovation
