😐 Radiographer-Patient Relationships in the UK: Building Trust and Communication 😄 Radiographers play a crucial role in patient care and are often the first point of contact for patients in the imaging department. Building trust and communication with patients is essential in providing high-quality care and achieving successful outcomes. One of the most important aspects of building a strong radiographer-patient relationship is effective communication. Radiographers must be able to communicate effectively with patients to ensure that they understand the procedure. Respect for patient dignity and privacy is also critical in building a positive relationship with patients. Radiographers must maintain patient privacy and ensure that patients are comfortable throughout their procedures. Finally, radiographers can build trust and communication with patients by being approachable and friendly. Patients may be nervous or anxious, and radiographers should strive to make them feel at ease by providing a warm and welcoming environment. Drop a like if you found useful! #nhs #radiography #radiology #uk

Radiology Department is one of the busiest one in the Hospital.. We deal with patients who comes in for various Imaging tests or scans. Our focus is to produce a medically acceptable image quality for the diagnosis of the specified body part. The administration of X-rays is such that we combine exposure factors which must be AS LOW AS REASONABLY ACHIEVABLE (ALARA PRINCIPLE) but produces quality images for improved diagnosis. Our work is so fascinating and with a touch of technicality. Knowing the projection and how to position a patient to get the best diagnostic image is one of the many scintillating aspects of our work.. Have you done an X-ray of any part of your body before? Tell me an xperience you had with the Radiography Technologist. #thestoryteller #theRadiographerintraining #theradiographyadvocate.

At the annual congress of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), another #photoncounting CT premiere took place — the first single-source PCCT (which we secretly installed and have been operating for nearly two months in our Emergency Radiology Department 😎). It’s almost unbelievable that two different #photoncounting CT scanners are helping patient care at the Semmelweis University Medical Imaging Centre, delivering faster and more accurate diagnoses with reduced radiation exposure. These top-tier machines truly come to life only in the hands of an exceptional team. A huge thank you to the entire #SemmelweisOKK team for their extraordinary and dedicated work, which helps hundreds of patients on their path to recovery every day! 🔝🩻👏👏👏 “In the future, all CT will be #photoncountingCT.” #NAEOTOMAlphaClass #NAEOTOMAlphaPrime #imagingiscool #RSNA2024
