Asynchronous medicine is often...better medicine. One example: You can actually work with patients, explain to them that antibiotics unlikely to help a virus, and then encourage them to wait a lil' bit to see how things play out. You'd be surprised how many people are agreeable to that, when they know that getting in touch with the provider in the next few days is easy. Be human. Let patients text.
