I love that video, even if it's around 2.30 minutes long. Do you know why? It shows that not always the first cleaning can remove all dirt. However, we always trust and repeat a process to deliver 5-star results. That video shows that sometimes, we need to go the extra mile to be sure that the job is done correctly. I'm proud to show that even with our knowledge, experience, and truck-mounted cleaning system, we don't always get 5-star results immediately. How are you with packing? Neat, efficient and slim line? Or, slightly chaotic with a little bit of everything thrown in, just in case... Now, how are you with your time? You wouldn't be the first person to pack your day like it's a 20kilo suitcase, only to discover that you've REALLY only got an Easy Jet carry on to work with...and that it's already fairly full of stuff. My point? When we stop thinking time is stretchy and realise that we've probably not got as much of it as we'd like, we can get more savvy with it. Got you thinking? Happy Power Wash Wednesday! What did CPW clean today? A 2,000 sq. ft. industrial park automotive garage floor. How did we land this job? The commercial property manager found us on Google. He called me last week, we scheduled a site visit the following morning to assess the scope of work. We discussed what needed to be done, his expectations, how soon he needed it done, and how we can help him achieve his vision. He mentioned he contacted 5-6 other companies the same day he contacted us. We were the only to either answer his call or call him back. That’s astonishing to me. More often than not, there are no “secrets” to success. The “secret” is doing the small things right, consistently. What are the small things you might ask? Answering your phone, responding to requests promptly, scheduling in-person meetings same day or the next day, developing a relationship versus focusing on the transaction, being interested, asking for the work…I could go on. These attributes don’t cost anything but make a world of difference. You will drastically increase your odds of success by pursuing mastery in the small things. But, if you talk the talk, you better know how to walk the walk. 🎉 Ah, Friday - My favourite day of the week! While the team clocks out at 2:30 PM, I'm left to embrace the quiet office, crank up my favourite tunes, and dive into some quality reflection time. It's also my chance to review the week's trials, tribulations and triumphs. Thankfully it's been most of the latter 😁. 🚨 The past week or so has been a whirlwind of urgent tasks, pushing us to our limits with tight deadlines. You might be wondering, "How can lasering be urgent?" Let me explain. 💡 1️⃣ We've had customers facing machine breakdowns, needing us to cut parts for emergency repairs. 2️⃣Another client urgently required steam gaskets, 3️⃣and yet another needed plates engraved for a critical project. 4️⃣Plus, we stepped up to manufacture parts for a new customer under immense pressure from their client. All in and out the door within 24 hours. It's been a challenging but rewarding week, proving once again that we're ready to tackle any challenge thrown our way! 💪✨ More than that, it highlights how we truly make our customers' problems and deadlines our own.
