Human-Machine Integration (HMI) by US Army experimentation is taking off! This rapid integration, followed up by coalition OT&E to prove and validate these new systems as nodes in the multi-domain stack leads to successful Human-Machine Teaming (HMT). Through effective HMI & HMT, emphasis is focused on fastest battlespace SA and COP from the uncrewed systems, thus saving lives of the vulnerable crewed systems/dismounted soldiers, as they are initially more in arrears putting UxS first into severe harm’s way. Every effort must be made to continue to conduct COALITION DEMONSTRATIONS & EXPERIMENTATION of new leading edge effects and CONOPs & the US Army emphasized recently at EDGE 23 that more calculated/mitigated risks must be taken NOW by allies, as adversaries are becoming closer to peers and overmatch in some areas. We need to become excellent @ collaborative Ops as a System of Systems iso rapid Kill Chains/Web via a robust globally agile and deployable network. Mixed reality has been transforming military operations by enabling remote repairs and assistance. During a recent event in the UK, Kognitiv Spark showcased its mixed reality headsets, which allow experts to guide field personnel in real time without the need for a physical presence. The secure headsets use a proprietary “black box” to ensure data integrity and have been designed for use in defence scenarios where rapid, remote problem-solving could prove to be critical. For all the non-pro human folks out there. The ones who like to downplay the timelines of AI development. The ones who underestimate the risks of AGI. The big question is, who’s in charge of these systems? Humanity is set to lose big time unless we come together as a species and unite on how this technology should be used. Let’s focus on pro human outcomes with this alien technology.
