To get nonprofit funding, be fundable & findable. 💪🏽💛

𝗥𝗲𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁: ‘We won a new grant.’ 𝗘𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲: ‘They won a new grantee.’ 𝗢𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘆𝗲𝘁: ‘We both won a new partnership.’ Why? “Nonprofits need the funds, but the donor also needs results and impact,” says Mickness Aeschlimann. “It’s a win-win situation for all.” Another way to frame it. ⤵ “It’s not about money,” says The Eight Principles®. “It’s about two parties coming together to accomplish something they cannot do alone.” So stop #fundraising with a 𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘶𝘵 for the donor’s money and start communicating like it’s a 𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘬𝘦 between allies. Your #brand will be bolder.  You’ll get more funder attention. Conversations will become more just. And we can shift the doer-donor power imbalance, once and for all. Flip the script. Be the prize. 💪🏽💛 ______________________________________ Follow Kevin L. Brown to get fundable & findable. Then repost ♻️ to help your network.

Very well said here Rtn.Rahesh! Confidence in communication is infectious with donors. They can smell desperation, but they can also taste it when leaders believe they're allies rather than a charity case.
