🌟 Excited to Share Our Latest Research 🌟 We are thrilled to announce the publication of our new study, where we introduce a novel approach for nano-scale characterization of HVAF-sprayed CrC-based composite coatings. 📝 In this study, we propose a novel method utilizing high-speed nanoindentation testing and a k-mean clustering algorithm to spatially map the hardness of these coatings, offering valuable insights into their structure-property correlation and erosion performance. Our approach is particularly significant for characterizing coating systems with heterogeneous microstructures, allowing us to correlate their properties with wear performance accurately.
