Why We Leave Apps Unused After Downloading Them 📱 Hey everyone! It's #Day26 of my #30_Day_Learning_Challenge inspired by Shravan Tickoo! Ever downloaded an app, used it once, and never opened it again? You're not alone. Here's the catch: Apps often fail to hook us in the first 5 minutes. That’s where the magic (or disaster) happens. If the onboarding is too complex, features are overwhelming, or the app doesn’t solve an immediate pain point, we bounce. As a Product Manager, this is your golden opportunity: 1) First-use experience: Is it smooth and intuitive? 2) Immediate value: Does the app solve a problem right away? 3) Retention hooks: Is there a reason to come back tomorrow? Think of Duolingo: Within 2 minutes, you’re picking a language, setting goals, and completing your first lesson. Instant engagement! What’s an app you abandoned recently, and why? Share in the comments! Let’s learn together. 🚀 #ProductManagement #Onboarding #UserExperience #InspiredByShravan

Distracting ads, Asking too many permissions, Complicated onboarding, Notification overload and Poor UI/ UX -- these are few reasons that leads me to think about app uninstall. Recently, I bought a NCMC (Metro card) for its recharge, the executive said - You can do it through Airtel app and Google said you can do it via Phonepe too.. And I downloaded both of them to check in which app I can find the recharge option easily and fast. In both of them I took time to navigate to the recharge option and I didn't find 'search' section as well.. So, as a first time user of both these apps, I uninstalled both of them within 10 minutes of install. I'm used to of PayTM (they have search field at the top ) and Cred there I'm able to perform navigation and do the task in more speed..
