Bargaining Power of Suppliers: The ability of suppliers to drive up prices or reduce the quality of inputs. Bargaining Power of Buyers: The influence customers have on pricing and quality by demanding better offers. Threat of Substitutes: The risk posed by alternative products or services that can replace existing ones. Industry Rivalry: The level of competition among existing firms, which can lead to price wars, innovation races, or marketing battles. Together, these forces help businesses assess market dynamics and devise strategies to achieve a competitive advantage. 2) PESTLE Analysis This is a strategic tool used to examine the macro-environmental factors that impact a business or industry which can be Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Legal, and Environmental. This Framework helps organizations understand external factors and prepare strategies to adapt to or leverage these influences. 3) McKinsey 7S Framework The McKinsey 7S Framework is a management tool used to assess and align the internal elements of an organization for effective performance. It focuses on seven interconnected factors: Strategy, Structure, Systems, Shared Values, Style, Staff, Skills. The framework emphasizes that all seven elements must be aligned and mutually supportive for the organization to be successful. 4) SWOT Analysis A critical tool for assessing a company's internal strengths and weaknesses, as well as external opportunities and threats. It helps businesses leverage their strengths and mitigate risks. 5)Top-down and Bottom-up approach These are contrasting methods for decision-making. The top-down approach starts with broad strategic goals set by upper management, while the bottom-up approach gathers insights and decisions from operational levels. Both approaches have their merits depending on the context. 6) The GAME Model It is a structured approach to storytelling that helps in crafting impactful narratives, particularly in business and marketing. It stands for: Goal, Audience, Message and Engagement.
